Andrew Winnard

Andrew Winnard is an experienced painter whose work features in public exhibitions and private collections throughout the UK. Awarded an honorary degree by Anglia Ruskin University, he was given a ‘highly commended’ by judges at the 2024 Royal Cambrian Academy of Art. His still-life paintings in oils combine the tactile charm of everyday objects with a sense of drama. Using subtle shifts in light and tone, they convey the quiet beauty that lingers in the corners of domestic life. He’s currently working on a series of large moon jar paintings which celebrate their unique shapes and textures. His body of work also includes abstract paintings incorporating organic shapes and patterns.
