Andy McKenzie

I am an Artist, Printmaker living and working in Cambridge. I am also an Art Teacher working with Young People and Adults specializing in Printmaking. I have a BA Hons Degree in Two-Dimensional design from the University of Hertfordshire and an MA in Printmaking from the Cambridge School of Art @ARU.

I regularly exhibit in Cambridge and beyond and have been a member of the Cambridge Drawing Society for many years.

One of my prints ‘Green Gull’ was featured in Printing Matters issue 33 Spring 2026,

I am inspired by everyday things or objects and observations of life and nature. I create collages, sketch and draw before developing my ideas into screen-prints, often creating patterns through mono-printing or ink painting. I enjoy experimenting with colour and scale before producing my hand printed limited-edition prints, cards, collages with recycled papers also textile items.
