Sameer Tulaskar

I am an ink and pen artist and watercolour painter, trained in Fine Art, with over 26 years of experience in animation and VFX.

I began focusing on ink and pen drawing in 2024, developing a practice rooted in urban sketching and plein air observation. Much of my work captures the architectural character and everyday atmosphere of places, particularly in Cambridge, where I sketch streets, colleges, and quiet corners.

Working on location allows me to respond directly to light, movement, and mood, translating these fleeting moments into expressive line work and layered washes. My work also explores atmospheric landscapes and the rhythms of daily life.

Influenced by both Fine Art training and cinematic storytelling, I am drawn to scenes that feel lived-in and narrative, celebrating the beauty of everyday environments.
