Drawing has always been the most important aspect of my work to me. Taking a line for a walk can be a mysterious and challenging process, and I love interpreting the natural world through this process. Drawing enables you to investigate, explore and perhaps eventually understand your subject on a whole new level.

I use different media, charcoal, coloured pencils, watercolour and sometimes acrylics, but the shapes and forms of nature are a constant inspiration.

I hope my work evokes a sensory or emotional response in the viewer and encourages a positive link to nature. I am in awe of its beauty and complexity and tried to communicate
