Elizabeth Beardwell

I obtained a degree in Art and Art History from Cambridge School of Art & Design at APU. I found that I developed a particular interest in Printmaking, the process involved somehow separating the artist from the final image.

Interest in the medieval images in Royston Cave led on to using medieval wood carvings, often misiericords,  as a basis for small linocut prints.  I also use birds and trees as subjects for prints and drawings..

I use the Columbia Press at Royston Museum doing demonstrations and holding workshops.
