CDS member Nina Burgess will be holding a Colour Mixing Workshop on Saturday 18th of February.

This is a watercolour lesson for any adult looking to improve their understanding of colour. Nina will talk about the colour wheel and choosing the right colours to create a perfect mixing palette. Those taking part will learn how to select colours to avoid making mud; to create clean & vibrant mixes; and how to create good-looking “mud” on purpose for a range of beautiful earth tones. The day will finish by painting a colourful flower wreath using watercolours.

Although watercolours will be used on the day,  you will be able to use these colour mixing principles for any other medium. All art materials will be provided.  The workshop is suitabe for anyone looking to improve their understanding of colour, whether you are an experienced painter or a complete beginner. The workshop will take place at Scotsdales Garden Centre on Saturday 18th of February. 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
