The Cambridgeshire Plein Air Artist of the Year Award  is returning for its second year set on Saturday 13th June, 2026, at Histon Manor, Cambridge. Cambridge Drawing Society is pleased to support this event.

The event is open to professional and amateur artists who will spend the day painting and competing in this prestigious new competition. The event aims to become one of Cambridgeshire’s key cultural highlights for years to come, with a focus on fundraising and fun. Book your place now!

  • Location: Histon Manor, Cambridgeshire (4 miles north of Cambridge city centre)
  • Time: 10:00AM – 4:00PM (Artists can arrive at any time during the day – artworks must be finished & ready to be judged by 3:30PM)
  • Entry Fee: £30.00 per artist (100% of profits from ticket sales will go to charity)
