Four Ways of Seeing presents Stillness and Strength, an exciting new exhibition exploring shared themes and celebrating creative diversity through four distinct and dynamic artistic voices including work by CDS members Sue Law & Jill Ogilvy.

Sue Law and Jill Ogilvy are members of Four Ways of Seeing, a collective of four professional artists, with Judy Logan, and Deanna Tyson making up the four. The group has a wealth of experience between them, each having exhibited their work both nationally and internationally for many years. Their disciplines cover sculpture, paint, print and textiles which allows them to respond creatively to a theme from each of their individual perspectives. Small monotone sculptures by Sue Law nestle amongst Judy Logan’s striking goddesses and ominously still, ink black crows, whilst Jill Ogilvy’s calm domestic still life compositions and evocative landscapes contrast with the provocatively strong icons and omens presented by Deanna Tyson.

 This exhibition brings together each of the group’s four distinct visual voices, united by common threads of inspiration, yet each pursued in radically different ways. Having spent recent months exhibiting independently across the country in exciting and prestigious exhibitions, the four artists are pleased to bring their work together again for their home audience.
